223 bolt action suggestions ?

Spike1, If you haven't looked at a Howa 1500 in .223, you should look. I have had one since the early 1980s called a Smith & Wesson. They were discontinued, but it shoots really well. I always say it will get p-dogs as far as I can see them. The Howa barreled actions are the same as a Weatherby Vanguard. They are available with Hogue or B&C stocks, and some have laminated thumbhole stocks. Fairly economical. You get more than you pay for with a Howa.
