Checkering cradle?

Checkering will drive ya absolutely nuts..unless you are a masochist and likes pain..Mental at the very least. BTW I tried to send a pic but it was returned.. Now if ya just gotta checker..could I interest you in some checkering tools ?? I just recut an old M-70 stock with a veiner. It had been refinished and they hit the checkering a little with the sandpaper.. Looks ok now. Had to fit it to an old M-70 300H&H.. Going to put a repro Winchester recoil pad on it..make it look closer to original. Have an original but it is a little stiff after more than 50 yrs
