Joe,
So WHAT if you cannot get Winchester Primers? What is SO GOOD about Winchester Primers? I have always used CCI Primers and went to Camp Perry twice and was a state pistol champion twice with CCI Primers. Maybe you just need to CROSS OVER. So what is so good about Winchester Primers??? What has Winchester Primers done for you CCI Primers cannot do BETTER? Adam

Primers
I've always kinda been a CCI fan myself. But people have brand loyalty. Had one fellow that always wanted Winchester.. He had a bad CCI once so thats the way it goes. I've had a few bad primers in shotshell loading. Worst was the old Federal but had a few Winchester too. Had a complete flat of CCI shotshell primers that for some reason didn't have an anvil. The rest of the 900 primers all went bang.. CCI sent me a certificate for whole thousand. They asked for the primers back so they could check 'em out. Very easy to deal with. I've always had good luck with Remington primers too. I have some small pistol primers from the 50's. Still good too. Got 'em from a fellow that had a S&W Highway Patrolman I bought with the Lyman 310 tong tool he got at the time he bought the gun.. Sadly he died about a month or so ago from prostate cancer. Bombardier on B-29's in WWII. Neat to talk to about it.

It depends what you prefer
I can understand brand loyalty as you seem to have for CCI. It is not a question of what is better, it is Joe's money and he can spend it as he see fit. Right? All the best...
