Well the light contour is a bird of a different tweet..It does feel somewhat like the old 1100. Has a bit different balance point though Mine is heavier than the same length 1100 bbl too..5 oz...And then they don't make a 12 ga framed 20 ga anymore...sigh..I do have a few of them though.. And a friend in Md found me a standard weight 1100 20 ga factory Cutts compensator bbl not long ago..like new for 60 bucks.. Shoots good too. Supposedly the rarest 1100 is a 20 ga Standard weight(12 ga frame) Left hand slug gun..If original will have a Remington Pad and rifle sighted bbl. Only seen two in all my years. And I have had at least 2000 in my possession at one time or another. I just found an Ithaca M-37 skeet grade 16 ga with a Cutts on it yesterday..MIght even buy it..Price was OK for a skeet grade
