Man you did very well at that one. Me, I am going to be trapping again this year I think. I have griped in the past years about not seeing any rabbits, well this year we are overrun with them, and the coyotes and bobcats are following them in, so it is time to brush of my trapping an snaring skills come nov 1. Until then I am going to build a few live traps and rabbit hutches.

My show last weekend saw some nice finds. Picked up a ten pounder of W-452AA unopened for $80, a great old powder. And bought a set of 300 WM RCBS dies for $10 to go with the newly acquired 700 BDL with scope and mounts. The 700 BDL Rem 35 Whelen 1988 Classic was a nice find at $400. There was a god many folks looking to sell right, not much buying going on though. So now I have brass to make and loads to develop. I have always liked the idea of the 35 Whelen since I first read about it as a kid in the 50s. I already have a 350 RM which I bought as a barreled action, because it was supposed to be just like the Whelen, which it is.

Started making brass out of some 280 Rem brass that I had, new. It looks pretty sweet so far but I am having to go 30 to 338 to 35 in the sizing as I did not anneal it. I got 40 pieces of once fired 300 WM brass given to me at the show.

Best to all and have a great weekend.
