This rifle will be buried with me. I had to give it up for 2 years because of financial strain on my last endeavor back from Germany. Priority #1 was to get it back, and I did. It is a great rifle, I am very happy to have it. It has a few nicks and dings on the stock, but still looks good, and it put meat in the freezer this year, I suspect it will for years to come. I am thinking on ordering a new stock from Numrich, just to have just in case this stock should break. It is not like Mauser or Savage, I am not going to one just anywhere.

When it comes to 'smithing, two things I don't screw around with are triggers and safetys. I would recommend having a competent gunsmith do the work, but that's just MHO.
