Just thought of the name of the Forster cap maker..It was called Tap a Cap I think.. With the oldtimers I have remembering isn't a given..it is an event...LOL..Fulminate of mercury is easy to make..Lead styphnate not as easy. There are other primary igniters that can be made such as silver Acetylide which also isn't hard to make..but if it ever comes to having to make primers..Mercury fulminate will be the way to go.. I actually know a guy that used to reload primers with mercury fulminate..but just to show he could
