One down and one to go

We may kid around with some things but the eyes we get squared away, right off. I have been shooting in competition since 1965 and seeing perfectly, comes with the territory in shooting. I notice very small things and even the small items are of major concern. So I keep an "eye" on my vision.

Unfortunately, as we get older all manner of bad things start to happen to us and the eyes are only issued two to a customer. After the cataracts are dealt with we will have a short period of time and then we will have to get up with a donor, as during this process it was discovered that I have Cornea cell degeneration on the reverse or back side of my corneas. So in the not to distant future we will be doing a cadaver cornea transplant, both eyes.

That will not be my first cadaver piece or part. My left shoulder was rebuilt with cadaver parts.

Sort of like Frankenstein and the Million Dollar man all mixed together. I do like the fact that we are 100 years down the road, cause 100 years ago, I would just be blind and that would be that.

Yes, I am a donor myself, but It looks like I might have all my pieces and parts all worn out. I am working on the slide in sideways......
