Skeet,
Let me know how that R-1 shoots! I am using a Para P-12 for my carry 45 and if you ever get an opportunity to get a Taurus P-1911 for a good price don't be afraid to buy it . I have a Stainless PT-1911 AR Taurus Pistol and it is one of my Favorite 45's Great Trigger shoots very accurate and no FTF or FTE as of yet in 2 yrs worth of shooting! I have a lasermax laser on it and it is scary accurate!  6.5
