Hunted a total of 6 days, the two youngsters that invited me hit heavy timber and ridge running. After first day, ole goat glassed game trails every daylight hour. We worked country from 10K down to about 6.5K.Saw absolutely NO Elk. Only heard about 4 shots.
Had a great crew and camp....hunting was a total bummer. Thinking about trying a new area next year. Open to suggestions. Dan Actually, that area has Moose and Deer. We didn't seen anything! Only consolation was no one else was either.
