Dan,
I suppose this is good news. What is LGS or G&G? No matter. On Fox News today they reported 20 million firearms background checks were done in November 2015 and "Black Friday" was a record for gun sales. Fox, always being fair and balanced, interviewed a RABID ANTI-GUNNER from "Cease Fire USA" who lamented about "all those guns now out on the street." I would have asked the fellow, "How many criminals presented their ID data for a background check?" WHO are BCs checking and to what good purpose???? As a retired federal lawman, I must ask WHAT is the USE of all these Background Checks? The California Terrorists "Passed" a background check as did Lanza's mother preceding the Newtown massacre. WHEN will we STOP checking people WITHOUT Criminal Records BEFORE they "Nut Out?" The BCs never solved a criminal case I ever worked and have prevented nothing to date. Another related point: After every mass shooting, relatives of the victims call for MORE restrictive gun controls. As much as our heart might go out to grieving parents who may have lost a child, that does not mean we owe them our gun rights, or must not oppose vigorously their demands to take away our gun rights which in no way would have prevented the mass shooting. We can be sorry for their loss, but that in no way gives them a claim to remove OUR gun rights. Adam

Dan,
Many thanks for the info. I just turned age 71 and would prefer to be age 20 in Lakewood, Colorado, once again!! I must say my military duty at Lowry AFB was the best years of my life. IF I did not live in Pennsylvania, I would be in the 1960s ERA Colorado. I am sure a half Century has made many changes. Still, the people back then were the friendliest and caring I ever met. In Lakewood in 1964 I went to a riding stable and rode several gentle horses. I visited with the stable owner and told him payday was a week away. "No matter" he told me and mein Madchen to go ride about and he would trust me to pay up on payday. I did and the horses were regular friends. I am sure the horses are awaiting another ride in Heaven. We will all be there for the last Round-Up. May the Lord be with you. Adam
