skeet,

Last March at the Morris. PA annual gun show I saw three tables full of PARTIAL bottles/cans of gun powder WITHOUT the factory seal in place. There was an after-market printed disclaimer/label saying "this container has IMR whatever." I asked the vendor, "How do you know the powder in any partial can is the same powder as on the label?" He said, "He carefully checks." Ok, so check all you want, BUT I never buy any powder that is not factory sealed! All partial cans given to me get spread on my gardens as fertilizer.

Thanks GOB. I've been pretty much off line except for a few posts on ebay.

The auction went good. Bought 3 guns 2 or 3 loading presses 5 8 lb containers of powder and 4 1 ponders... all sealed and 5 partial cans. 1 is green dot one is red dot and one 700x so I'm good with them. One can is Win 760 which is pretty distinctive the last was some 4350..not 'nuff to worry about so it will get destroyed. I also bought a FN magnum action with a Timney trigger and a whole Colt 1911 top end in the lot for 95 bucks. The series 70 slide is worth what I paid for the whole lot. Also got lots of little stuff. One of the guns I bought was a CZ in 204 Ruger And I got 4 boxes of Hornady ammo a set of 204 dies 100 204 new cases and an unopened pound of CFE 223 for 30 bucks. Every now and then the blind skwerl does find an acorn
