We had snow down to 5500 Ft last week. Down to 6500 feet the week before. Melted off for the most part...but raining here now..since noon yesterday and it is 40 degrees at 4200 Ft where I live. Most rain I have ever seen at one time since we have lived here. More than an inch and a half in 16 hours. We only average 4 1/2 inches a year..an inch less than the Mojave Desert... serious. I fear we are gonna have a pile of snow in the mountains this year. I have a couple of late season elk tags. We'll see what it is like next month. Y'all be careful hunting. Bet the mountain has snow on it now. 2 nights ago we had a T storm blow through and there was thunder snow with lightning on the mountain. Pretty sight... from here anyway.
