More on my bummer of an Elk season

			Here's today's efforts.

Several moose. Four bull together. One pretty nice one. 6 deer. A decent 4X4 Here's a story. Jim is driving in heavy snow having a hard time keeping out of the barrow pit (ditch to you easterners). And he spots "ears" up on the hill 525yds away. Hard to believe. He also notices that there are more than one. Can you find the hidden moose? It took me longer than I'd like to say and I was there! There's only one. This one is 504 or so away.

I would guess he is right in the middle of the pic just to the rifht of the pine tree that comes up from the bottom of the pic. The moose is facing to the left, but he has his head turned toward you to look at what you guys are doing. Then again, I could be way off on this one.

That's the obvious one. Its a calf bedded down. There's another and its pretty much like it was that day. Its pretty well hidden . Apparently obvious to a moose hunter but it had to be pointed out to me.

				Moose

He's to the right of the yearling in the next"clearing"over...facing the camera. At least I think so. Not real obvious

				Here it is

Cow moose, 9 o'clock an inch or so in. Under the tree at the edge of the opening. Can see front leg, chest/neck. Head is in the tree.

I figure its pretty good to be able to spot that from 500 yds while driving in rutted snow about a foot deep...... I couldn't do it. Any way I wasn't looking for moose.
