Truck Project (Need help)

Ok here is the deal. My Great Grandfather use to have a wooden "cage" That sat on top of his bed rails he used for hauling everything from hogs to feed. Basically it consisted of the left and right side, with a single 2x4 across the top at the front, and a gate that went from the top of the tailgate to the top of the sides. The whole thing was about as tall as the cab of his truck. I don't know the proper term for this darned project, and it is startin' to tick me off because if I search for wood and beds I find custom shops wanting to rebuild my bed for me, if I search for slat side I wind up either on pages for beds (like you sleep on at night) or for 1950's flatbed trucks with slat side rails on them. . . . . . Somebody help a redneck out would ya? I just need to haul about 400 million tons of crap of the next six months and I need to build this darned thing.

Thanks

GoodOlBoy
