Didn't fair well in WY
Weather was very hot and dry for the first 4 days, then light rain turning to snow. Temps dropped but didn't stay long; back to warm days. Only saw two immature Mulie bucks. Lots of does but no bucks. Did see one very large buck (body) at dusk one evening, but too far to see antlers in the low light and very high wind. Returned the next morning, but saw nothing. Hunted hard for six days and we finally took our Antelope bucks on the last day. Did manage to see 4 trophy class Antelope bucks during the week but all were on private property we did not have permission to hunt. More hunters than I've ever seen in the Lusk area, but game wasn't much to talk about. Best Mulie buck at the locker we saw was a 27" 4x4. Best Antelope pushed just over 15 inches. Enjoyed myself and that made the trip all worth while. Good hunting, grayghost

We never saw a buck at close range that would rival yours. Most stay in high breaks on leased property. There's always next year
