Have you rechambered a Marlin 336 30-30 to a 307?

I am new here. I posted this in the rifle forum also, I hope it's ok to repost here, it's probably better here. I have been looking for someone who has done a rechamber on a Marlin 336 30-30 to a 307. There always seems to be someone who knows someone whos done it, but I need some facts. Has anybody done this and tested it with a stock gun? I am very interested in what you have to say about it so please inform me.
As far as ammo goes you can still buy it online. I have purchased eight boxes in the last week, five of which are 150 gr. Not sure if I should use them or save them, as they do not make the 150 anymore. Winchester informed me that they still make the 180 gr, but its more seasonal and you my have to order it threw a dealer.

But I really need some facts on the 336 rechamber. Or if you could lead me to someone who has some.

Thank you very much.
