Other deal fell through. I'm still lookin for a P-14 Eddystone style action or complete rifle. Bbl and stock need not be good. If you can not find a P-14, you might think about the Siamese Mauser. They are 98 Mausers built by Arisaka. I have two that I built in 45-70 and both run to the bottom of 458 Win performance. The Simease will do the 450 and 500 Alaskan also, without a problem. Ed

Yeh, I'm more than a bit familiar with the Siamese mauser, they .... are ...... UGULY!!!!! Very strong but .... very .... UUUUGULY!!!!!
