Decisions, Decisions?

Today is Thursday and we have tomorrow and Saturday for the PA Muzzleloader Antlerless deer season.

It rained most of today, but Friday and Saturday should be typical Autumn days. I could use a flinter or caplock Friday and Saturday. The old folks can also shoot does today, Friday and Saturday with modern rifles as can Juniors and Active Duty Military for antlerless deer.

Wait a minute! When will the poor PA Antlerless deer in PA have ENOUGH PRESSURE? My trail cameras do show a few antlerless deer, but I cannot bring myself to shoot a doe and kill 2 or 3 deer from our diminished deer herd.

I will go afield to protect the resident antlerless deer in my farm's core area from tresspassers. Been there and done that in the past. One day, when we have a healthy PA deer herd again, the flinters will come on line.

Adam
