Nephews 1st elk

Well my 13 year old nephew took his first elk Saturday evening of the 1st rifle season here in Colorado with my son Arlan at his side. Arlan spotted them and got him set up on the backpacks to make the shot with Cobi's dads 300 RUM.

He has had a great year with taking his first muley with his bow and then his first elk with a gun. Congrats Cobi !!!!!

Outstanding!

Course...with such a first, Uncle's gonna have to have a nice shoulder mount done so the youngster can hang it above his closet door.

Right?
