Smile tradeing ground rules?

I can see that you guys wanted to get this forum going so here is a question that I put to you guys! I have had some good trades and I have had some bad. Because of the bad trades I had to set up some ground rules for myself to keep the experiences good! What ground rules do you guys maintain to keep everything on the up and up?

I only have 1 ground rule, and that is to be honest. One very important thing I found out is to ask and disclose any medical problems you might have. I found this one out the hard way. I had a real sleepless night once making sure my partner was gonna keep breathing. Nothing against him, he didnt know he might have a problem, but this happened to him before and he played it off I guess.

Another is to be honest about your limitations. Me, I hate heights and have frozen up a few times while goat hunting. I tell that to everybody I hunt with, so they will be ready for anything. I still go after goats and sheep, I just dont look down so much

Here's another one... Don't make promises you can't keep. Make sure that you tell your trading partner that there are NO GUARENTEES........ some people don't understand that! They think that you're going to catch fish EVERY DAY or going to shoot a MOOSE every day ..... they need to understand that most of the time that's not the case....
