Unhappy Raptor rifle

I have a Raptor rifle in .270 caliber, ss with synthetic stock.
It won't fire most of the time. I tried my buddys ammo and it fired three times. I got more factory ammo from another store and it wouldn't fire. I had the headspace checked and it was okay even on the tight side. The inside of the bolt is rough but would that make any difference? I checked with Wolff springs thinking and stiffer mainspring would help but there is nothing available.
Has anyone got any ideas to help?
I won't sell it like this knowing something is wrong.
This is driving me nuts and I don't have far to go.

Thanks
Mick J

What do the primers look like on the fired cases? Slightly dimpled? If so, I'd check the firing pin protrusion. If it is not protruding about .050-.060 start looking for reasons why.
1. firing pin hanging up inside the bolt on??? Dirt, grease, a burr inside the bolt??

2. firing pin too short? check length

Rottweiler,
The firing pin is out about .062. The primers look like they are not hit hard enough to go off. A little more than a dimpled. The inside of the bolt is good and clean but a little rough but not worse than many Remingtons I have seen. I'd like to polsih the inside but can't think of a good way to do it.
Any more ideas?
Thanks for your help.

Charter bought the company and then resold it but they would not tell me who bought it, so I guess I have a junk gun.
Thanks for your help.
