Stoeger Condor

Anyone shooting a Stoeger Condor on this board? Saw one at Dicks sporting goods the other day and thought it looked and felt ok. Been looking for a cheap O/U but never found one till now. Gun will be used mostly for crow shooting and throwing it in the boat to shoot duck..... I think they are around 290.00 at Dicks.....

A buddy of mine had a Stoeger. It shot a couple of feet high, but other than that it seemed to be okay. Seems like a lot of other people like them. Personally, I have never owned one, but I also wouldn't be chucking my o/u's into a boat for duck hunting. I used to use a Beretta 686 for crow hunting though, but that was before I got the SBE.

By the way, I didn't know that you did much duck hunting. If I had known that, I would have invited you on a couple of hunts this past season. Oh yeah, let me know when you guys want to get together and shoot some clays. It has been about a year since I have been to the St. Charles Sportsman's Club and the last time I went you weren't even there. If you get the Stoeger, we'll definitely have to try it out on some clays.

Fabs lets break some clays soon, went last Sunday and did ok. Can't make it this sunday, gotta get honeydos caught up so I can hit the spring rock season. Duck hunting has never been my cup of tea till I saw you can do a gun rig off the shore below the 301 bridge.... Take the boat out, throw some camo on it and blast the duck from my boat, hell that's just another reason to hit the water and smell the 2 stroke oil burning..... We'll have to do it this coming season.

Dicks finally got a few Stoegers in so I picked one up.... Those things go FAST! The one I got has 28" barrels and came with Mod and full choke tubes... I picked up a IC tube and headed for the Sporting clays course yesterday with it..... Shot the Sporting clays, a round of trap and a round of skeet and loved it..... Have not patterned the thing yet but it seemed to hit close to where I was aiming yesterday.... Dennis and Fabbs, I will be trying to hit the range on Sundays for the next few weeks till Rock season comes in..... I'll be there around 9:15 or so, hope to see ya there.

Well I can testify that the Stoeger shoots well on the Sporting Clays and skeet range
