7mm-08/100 grain loads

Anyone have any 100 grain loads for the 7mm-08 they've had good luck with? I have 300-7mm hp-bt bullets and no loads other than a few on the net, that I don't know the people who posted them.

I have load books that list 120 grain loads, how do i safely work up or down from them for 100 grain?

Can I start by using 7mm Mauser loads and work from there?

Critch,

I have a old M788 with 18 1/2" barrel and used 45.0grns AA2520 for a little over 3100fps (fastest) and accurate. Have also used various loads with 3031, 4064, 4895. H335, and even H4198 for plinking. W748 would probably work well too.

I think the data for the 7mm mauser would work fine. BM

Hello, I use 38.3 Grains Varget with the 100 gr JHP (Honrady) in my wife's Encore 7-08 , accurate, fun to shoot load(she loves it!) and it's "explosive" as well! I REALLY Like the Hogdon's "Extreme powders" since they aren't going to get "hotter" as the temps do!( very important IMHO for a varmint load)

Thanks everyone..also found some more loads

Both one of the Hodgdon Powder Company magazines, (updates?) last nite and it had all sorts of 100 grain loads.

Hope to try a few this weekend.

thanks for the feedback...
