Is anyone out after small game yet?
I know NY's small game opened September 1st. What season is open in your state?

Hi Jack,
Yes Ia mout in the woods small game hunting.
Squirrels still have some werbals so I am taking a break for a few more days in hops it will turn a bit more chilly and some of the werbals will exit the squirrels.
I have already seen 9 Turkeys in the Moreau Lake State park area off of Spier Falls Rd.So thats a good sign, indeed.
No sightings of deer or Bear yet for this area.

Looks like you are the only one, Wolvie.
I haven't been out for tree rats yet, myself. But, it's only 3 weeks or so until ML deer season.
