Well, I'm not quite that old....grew up in the 60's on the Daniel Boone TV show, and saw him as Davy Crockett on Disney reruns and Wonderful World of Disney (Sunday nights, 7 PM...last event of the weekend before we started school on Monday morning!
 )I didn't have the coonskin cap or rifle until much later....found 'em on a family trip to TN. ...and when I was a kid playing in the woodlot behind my house, I wasn't just playing Danl' Boone..I was Fess Parker being Danl' Boone!
