Can't remember for the life of me what we built, do remember it was 3 and allowed to purchase one. Later sold mine to a fellow warden who still has it after all these years. I have, had, son using it now S&W 36 that I got back in the mid 60s, and liked better than the ones we built.

I have settled in with a Springfield XDS .45 compact. Small, fairly light, easy to carry.
Most of the compact 9mm pistols are no smaller, and I like a .45 over anything else for CCW.
I liked the XDS so much, I bought two of them.

8X56MS,

Nice looking guns and a nice photo. Are those as-issued extended magazines or after market magazines? How many rounds will the mag hold?

Had a gal down the road give me a Kel-Tec 9mm to sell She shot it a whole 5 times. Think it was a little bitey if you know what I mean. She even bought another mag for it. Momma has a Kahr 9mm and really likes it. I may keep this Kel-Tec. Like the Kahr better but I can buy this darn thing for about 275..I guess that is a fair price..I don't follow pocket pistols much..but I get the box of ammo too. And can buy two more from her for 10 bucks each. Heck the Kahr cost a good bit more than that. As far as carrying.. I don't very much..but when I do it is usually the Wilson Combat. and I also have a Smith M-19 4 inch gun that is fairly easy to carry. I sometimes.. mostly summer..carry the Para LDA 6 shooter. Pretty easy to hide. Small but heavy. Trigger pull on that thing is kinda weird. Ya always wonder if it is going to fire..but it always do.

Skeet just went to a S&W show at a local dealer. He was hassling me about buying something so I bought mama a new 60 airweight, the 637-2 which is basically a 60 made of scandium with a SS barrel and cylinder. I have rarely bought her anything she likes better. She carried that 60 for years but keeps walking over to the new box and pulls out the little 5 shooter and plays with it constantly. You know, that 60 weighs a ton compared to that little airweight.

Oh, I have a Kel Tec 380 that I carry in my back pocket all the time, very handy. The recoil is not bad and I can hit a can top at 10 yards with it. Most folks that have the 9mm like them pretty well.

Well I didn't buy the Kel-Tec.. I went ahead and sold it..to another lady.. But I got to keep the ammo.. The gal that wanted me to sell it got another Kel-Tec in 32 auto..It is Smurf Blue..Ugly..but she can rack the slide and shoot the darn thing..For 200 bucks I bought an as new Beretta Tomcat stainless(yuck) 32 auto.. It is an easy gun to carry. Not as big as a PPK but not real heavy either..And I got a box of Winchester Silvertip HPs with it and 4 more for 40 bucks.. What I have been carrying most often is the S&W 4 inch 57 The darn thing sure do shoot..But it do be LOUD and is somewhat hard to conceal
