Types of tree stands make any difference?

Actually I've found that the most productive stands that I've
ever used are perminent home made stands. Granted they
are not an option other than on your own land or land where
the owner gives permission to build them.

A stand that hangs there year round has a big advantage. The
deer pass it every day. It's part of the scenery. I've made
several out of old pallets that they pile up behind the supremarket
