Hi All,

Err Victor, Air rifles are limited to a maximum of 12 ft lbs muzzle energy. Any more than that they go on the firearms certificate and have to be applied for and approved like any other firearm. The means of power makes no difference, be it spring, CO2 or precharged compressed air.

I personally don't have any firearms rated Air Rifles, I do have three sprig powered ones though which require no licences at all, they are :-

Feinwerbau Sport 127 .22

BSA Meteor Std .177

Hanel Mod 302 .22
