When I turned 19 that was the legal drinking age in MN.

I stayed home on purpose and worked in the fields on dad's farm til well into the evening. I saw what happened to others who went out on their 19th birthday and wanted to avoid it. One guy had to go to the hospital to get his stomach pumped and almost died.

I'm no tea toatler but trust me, it is a head ache you can do without, and whatever you do, have a designated driver.
