I have brought up the topic of sunday hunting to lots of my farmer fiends to get their feel of the situation. All of them think of Sunday as a day of peace on the farm and although don't mind a few sunday crow or yote hunts around them, see their peace and quiet down on the farm with family etc etc interupted with others running around the property.....I think maybe a good start for deer would be on maybe state game lands only....and see how that goes.....also thought should be given to this situation...while talking to an amish farmer to get permission to hunt his land, in the distance a shot was heard. Then a ping on the side of his barn. Then another shot in the distance...again a ping on the barn. His family and us were standing only about 30 yds from the barn and another 30 yards from his home. When he asked us if we heard the shots hitting his barn, not far from us or his kids, we agreed this is what was going on......he ran us off not to hunt his property....which by the way we had the ok to do so just moments before....With his kids playing outside running the fields on a sunday off from work and school.....I doubt he would let hunting on sunday anyhow.....we also once got ran off a farm for even asking to hunt the next day because we bothered the land owner on a sunday....humm....It will take a lot of work for sunday deer hunting...
