Remington 1100 ?

I was looking at getting a O/U for sporting clays but I ran across what looks like a good deal. I am not familiar with semi auto shotguns that much. Every semi I have shot has been a 31/2" waterfowl gun.

I went to a pawn shop and they have a Reminton 1100 that is a 2 3/4" only. It has a matte black finish and synthetic stock. The reciever has a pattern on the side. the pattern is not engraved but I guess it was cast or machined whatever process created the reciever. It has hardly been shot at all the edges of the action are still black and there is no wear patterns on the bolt or inside of the reciever. No scratches on the gun anywhere.

I assume this is a slightly older model since I could not fin it on the Remington website. They are asking $259.00 this looks like a good deal but is anyone out there more familiar with this shotgun and its value.

Sounds like someone put a synthetic stock on a 1100 to me.

Most 1100's came with wood furniture as far as I knew.

They are great guns, everyone I used to hunt with had 1100's and all of them are great guns
