How deep to seat?

With some of my calibers I also break some rules. Since most of my shooting is at the bench I can feed the cartridges single shot fashion since I do not have to worry about them clearing the magazine. Then the rule becomes, seat just enough to hold the bullet securely. This is especially true when loading for the newer rifles with their ungodly long chambers, and you're trying to reach the lands. Actually you shouldn't try to reach the lands with some rounds since many shoot their most accurate when they have to jump to the lands. Best wishes.
