Well, The Mad One has at long last returned from my unanticipated sojourn away from HC...
(The WW2 Forum I was moderating at folded up shop, the WW1 re-enacting unit I'm helping found...well, the Arizona re-enacting season is over for the summer, work has simmered down now that we have addditional techs who can help out in the lab, and the problems I was having with my GF* have settled themselves out) Am now doing some Old Westy stuff in addition to World War One, so I'm actually doing "Two Timeperiods" as the re-enactors say.  (well, already had the 19th C. revolvers, so the only expensive firearm purchase for me was the Austrian service revolver...) This being a nice LOOOONG weekend I plan on getting a bunch of .38 Longs rolled up (I've almost run out! And need to run off some with hollowbase projos for best obturation & accuracy in the cartridge conversions!) getting that comparison test done with the Kirst Conversion 1851 soon and getting a few more articles of gear & garb for my 1870's Cowboy persona... (Gotta get the rest of my Jayhawker garb so I have a 2nd outfit! Occasion has arisen where I have to be a "retired" Northern Irregular) Dos Vidanya, amigos!
