why do you carry a knife?

i like that, a tool not a weapon. i carried one a while back but always kept forgetting it at home. plus, that kershaw was kind of bulky to clip on the inside of your pants pocket. i LOVED the spring assist feature though.

you know, alot of the people my age carry knives but for reasons other than it coming in handy. not sure their intent but from what i gather, it's questionable.

alot of times in the past couple of years i would venture downtown and walk from bar to bar alone at times. heck, sometimes i've been so plastered i've had to sleep in my truck or wait for a ride for more than an hour in a dry business entry way. i sure did like having that knife on me. like a security blanket of sorts.
