Well it's about time!

It sucks that some other team is going to pick him up, but what is good about it is that they will probably only pick him up for a year at a time (i.e., he won't get a big contract).

Personally, I think the guy is an idiot. He was going to make something like $50 million over 8 years and he wanted to re-negotiate his contract.

We had something like this in Washington. While the coaching staff and LaVar Arrington will not admit it, the rumor is that LaVar faked being hurt last year because he was upset with the contract that he negotiated with the Redskins under his agents advisement. So, when he wanted to play this year, the Redskins sat him down because "he wasn't quite understanding the defensive scheme."

This is also something like the problem with Keyshawn Johnson that Tampa Bay had. Notice that we don't hear much from him now that he is with Parcells. Some coaches, like Gibbs, Parcells, and the rest of the old school guys will not put up with these cry babies that are making millions of dollars, and I don't blame them. Principles are much more important than wins and losses, especially in the long run. I applaud the Eagles owners and coaching staff, even though I have to hate them because they are such a rival of the Redskins.
