With the 18.5 pound spring in mine, it won't reliable feed real light wadcutter loads- like a 185 at about 700 FPS. If I use a 200 grain, and stay at around 750 FPS, it works fine.
I find it easier to load to the 750 FPS area (or 800 FPS with 185's) than to switch springs, and maybe forget what spring I have in the gun.
