All the birds in Campbell County, Wyoming are put and take birds, they are raised on a bird farm and approximately 220 are released in walk-in-areas once a week. The G&F claim that we have so many predators in Wyo. that the birds wouldn't make it in the wild anyway so our county gets all the hens out of the states raising pens. That's why we can take hens. Not exactly like hunting wild birds, but what can you do. That's why I was so excited about going to North Dakota. Only problem was I forgot to take pics while I was there, except for the pictures at the end of the day. Just so everyone knows these birds maybe pen raised birds but they are scattered over 4500 acres so you do have to do some work in getting them. Anyway thanks

Val:
Thanks. Wish you could have been here for a hunt. Mostly I hunt by myself and it's always more fun to hunt with someone than by yourself. Although we don't have many briars we do have alot of cactus, so when I get done hunting I usually spend about 30 minutes checking feet for cactus. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
