 Here is a pretty one don't you think? It's a Ruger Express in 270 Win. I bought it for the wood and have done some work to it as it misfired when I got it. Now I have touched up the bedding and been polishing the barrel with Rem Clean. On the last trip to the range it shot 3/4 MOA at 100 and 200 yds with Sierra 130 GK's and old 4831. It's not a favorite yet and may always just be a safe queen. I just felt like talking about it.

my favorite rifle. it could only be one, the one i learned to shoot with, a winchester model 72 my grandfather purchased in 1945 right after the war.
he was so excited he bought two new rifles, the 72 and a model 61. my grandfather was veeeeery pro american. i have both. the model 72 is a constant companion in the summer when i am facing charging ground squirrels and other deadly game. and they both still shoot as good as they did in 1945.

My "favorites" of course the pre-64 winchester, pre 1995 Dakota arms 76, Satterlee arms (billet machined mauser style, hard pressed to find an action as smooth or tight), or a tricked high custom german 98 mauser.

Favorite Rifle
My favorite rifle is my Remington 40 XB Rangemaster. Just don't ask about the caliber because I now have seven of them!!

if i had to sell...
my brno/375hh, my rem 700psp/300win, my brno/22-250 and my win 94/30-30 iwould be left with my interarms mark-x in 308win. i could drop that rifle and if it went off it would kill a deer. ibought it off a co-worker for three hundred dollars canadian, complete with scope sling and gunbag. best deal i ever made.
