all shaft manufacturers have chart that will lead you to choosing the correct shaft. You will need to know your draw length, shaft length, and the weight of your broadhead/field point. Additionally, they may ask about the type of cam (single, double, etc.) and whether you use a release or fingers.
When you purchase a carbon shaft, you don't really get to choose the weight or diameter of the shaft - it goes by spine (stiffness).
However, manufacturers shafts are slightly different from each other in grains per inch of weight and shaft diameter. I wouldn't worry too much about that though. Select that shaft of the correct spine and you should be good to go.
If you are putting the arrows together yourself, I suggest you spin the shafts at full length. If there is any wobble in the shaft at the nock end, cut about 1/2 to 1" off the nock end of the shaft before cutting it for the actual length.
If you are having a shop make up your arrows for you, explain to them that you are going to be using it for broadheads and would like the arrows "tuned for broadheads." If they are willing, you might get them to glue the inserts in with broadheads attached to make sure they spin true (no wobble in the broadhead).
