If I buy a 700 or 70 Win the trigger gets adjusted to 2 3/4 to 3lbs before I even go to the range. On a field gun this is plenty light enough for my personal preference. It has made quite a difference in group size for me having a nice light pull, the anticipation of the gun going off on larger caliber rifles with heavy recoil keeps me away from the factory setting. Heck, 6-7# I start to wonder if the safety is on! MD
