Skinny, the auction sites will give you a good idea of what people really pay for guns- not what the book decides it's worth.
The ones I know of are Auction Arms and GunsAmerica. I believe Auction Arms will let you review the past 6 months of sales. You should be able to get some reality based ideas from that.
