I'm not sure what you like to do, but there's everything from symphony to demolition derby in Utah.
One thing you can certainly do in Layton is eat. Every restaurant known to man has sprouted there. The Hill AFB Museum is great if you like airplanes. Lotsa minor league sports teams: arena football, soccer, baseball. More golf courses per capita than anywhere, I think. Beats me - I'm actually more of a stick in the mud. I'm either here in my office writing or off at the range, or fishing or popping PDs in Wyoming. Or on the road doing earplugs.
