I was turkey huntung and walking a railroad track bed into a place I had been seeing and hearing a ton of good Toms- the morning was especially foggy and you couldn't see clearly more than 30 yards, it was like 45 minutes before sunrise and I was moving right along down the tracks looking at the ground and moving quickly, I finally stopped when a deer blew at me very close- I stopped and looked around and it looks like I walked right in the middle of a herd of deer- I knew they couldn't see me and didn't know what I was so I jacked a shell in my Benelli to let them know what I was and deer took off eveywhere- I counted 15 tales but I think there were more than that. First time I had ever really been worried about being run over by a deer- This was in Maine if you are wondering where I am from
