A fairly sturdy and reliable gun, but don't get your hopes up on having a tack driver, although the accuracy they have is well qualified for a big game hunter, under 2" consistently, usually hitting about 1 1/2". Get lucky and you might get a rifle that will shoot MOA w/ a good load it likes, but if you aren't in the game for paper shooting this is a great rifle. 30-06 is a great cartridge to go along with it
