the second level back.  That would be the second DECK  The pointy end is the bow, not bow but bow The back end is the stern The right side facing front is Starboard The left side facing front is Port THe hallways are passageways. Crosswise across the ship is athwart ship. They relined the barrels and test fired them out here in the desert about 5 miles west. Still some unexploded rounds in the dirt. Glad you and the family had a great vacation.
