Gil,
Is that a caplock or flintlock Green Mountain barrel? I visited the Green Mountain shop in Conway, NH on my last vacation. I have a smoothbore .50 flintlock barrel for my .45 rifled T/C Hawken that is a fine small game barrel. Get some .54 wads and go try about 80 grains of 2F Goex and the charger set at 80 grains for #6 shot and use a top wad. Good shooting. Adam
