You are right. The deal might have gone through after August 21st, but the editor's comment about them entering into an agreement on August 15th isn't correct. I would think that we would have heard more about it if it actually went through after the incorrect announcement by Winchester. Of course, I hope the deal goes through and Winchester firearms are still built in the future, even though I really do not care for Browning. By the way, I wasn't trying to be snooty with that last post. I jus thought I would post the previous thread on here because it provides some insight as to what happened back in August.
