I have mixed feelings about all this. With so many different weapons available to everybody, it becomes rather tough to limit the deer season. We have bows, crossbows, traditional muzzleloaders, in-line muzzleloaders, shotguns, and rifles. All the dates and season are confusing enough for me already.

If you want to hunt with a bow, fine. Same with a crosswbow, muzzleloader, or whatever other weapon you choose. In Maryland, it is completely fine to hunt with a bow during muzzleloader season. Likewise, it is comletely fine to hunt with a bow or muzzleloader during firearms season. If you want the challenge of huntng with a different weapon, so be it, but carving out a bunch of different seasons seems insane, especially with the amount of deer we have here in Maryland. Granted, I know there are a lot less in PA, but they cannot be that few that we cannot all hunt in harmony.
