Doing the bird?

We went up to Jax to eat with my daughter. This was her first time to host a family event in her new Condo.
My daughter's boy friend cooked the turkey in one of those deep fry things. Worked great. Bird was moist and delicious.
Along with the turkey, we had venison filets, wrapped in bacon and broiled. My son's gf smoked a Venison roast. I killed those two deer on her farm two weeks ago with a muzzle loader.
I fixed a summer squash/cheddar/bacon casserole, sweet potato and orange casserole, oyster dressing, Italan Green beans, sauted just before we ate.
I made a Carrot cake with cream cheese icing, two pecan pies, two Sweet potato pies, and an apricot cheesecake
Sweet tea, rolls, home made bread and a greek salad rounded out the meal
Lots of football on TV after, and a great time with the family.
